Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in the US for the past forty years. Her most well-known role is for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV series Gilligan's Island). The actress began her career in stage shows during the 1950s beginning in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. She continued to perform in various Broadway productions, before becoming famous in the national stage area with Li'l abner's in the year 1957. She also released her first album, titled It's Time to Tina in the same year. Louise started her Hollywood career in 1958, in which she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a drama film. It was a huge success and Louise received her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. She enrolled in Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's student. The next memorable role she played was in 1964. She was signed by CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise worked successfully in both Hollywood and Broadway in roles that were more serious in order to dispel her image as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Recently, she's also become a popular director for well-known television shows like Supernatural or The 100. Born in Essex, Ontario on 28th August 1965, her family moved to Toronto when she was three. She spent her childhood in Toronto and through her teenage years. When she was selected in 1997 for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living in Vancouver ever since.
