Rachelle Lefevre

Rachelle Lefevre was born in Canada. Lefevre who was working tables at the time she was spotted by a Canadian filmmaker who gave her the role of her debut as an actress. Lefevre then moved from Canada to Los Angeles and earned a part-time role in the tv series What About Brian (2006). Lefevre who was a teenager working in the same Montreal restaurant serving sushi, noticed her ambitions to be an actor and approached the casting director. That eventually lead to the role she played on an upcoming Canadian sitcom. Her appearances on David E. Kelley's Boston Legal (2003) led her to play the lead role in David E. Kelley's 2008 U.S. version of the BBC popular Life on Mars (2009). The father of Lefevre is French. She was born in Montreal although she swore majority English. in 2004, because of the absence of English speaking roles in Montreal the actress moved into Los Angeles. The actress landed her most prestigious movie role to date in Catherine Hardwicke's adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight. It's the first of a popular collection of novels for teens.
